Silent perforation in surgical gloves occur frequently and most often medical personnel are unaware of such an occurrence until they notice blood on their hands, indicating a breached glove. The use of double gloves reduces sensitivity thus affecting performance and is therefore not a popular option. With the Glove Puncture Detection System, such problems are completely eliminated.
